Diglipur, Dec 03: On receipt of complaint from PRI members that Doctors are not available for out- patients even after 10 am Asst. Commissioner of Diglipur Dr. Vivek Kumar today visited the Community Heath Centre (CHC) Diglipur to take a stock of the situation personally. He patiently heard both doctors and patients.
When patients complained that on Saturday no out –patients were seen by the Doctors, the Asst. commissioner called a meeting in the evening regarding this matter and directed the Doctors and PRI members to attend the meeting.
During the meeting the AC instructed that in case Doctors go on long leave, alternative arrangements should be made from Mayabunder District Health Centre.
AC also instructed that the night duty Doctors should be allotted a room at CHC for night duty and they should be available for the patients whole night. “One display board should be placed on the entrance of CHC with the details of Doctors and their mobile number,” he directed during the meeting.
