Port Blair, July 28: The State President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Mr. Ajay Bairagi has strongly condemned the statement of Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Mr. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and has demanded an apology to the country.
Addressing a press conference today, Mr. Bairagi said that such remarks on the Presidentof India are not only indecent but also hurt the sentiments of 135 crore countrymen.
Mr.Bairagi said that Mr. AdhirRanjan Chowdhury calling the President as the ‘Rashtrapati’ is not only an insult, but it is an insult to the millions of tribal people of the country. He said that his statement is also going to hurt the women of the country.
Mr.Bairagi demanded that Mr. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury should be removed from the post of Leader of Opposition as soon as possible and he should be expelled from the party.
