Diglipur, June 20: Two foreign Dinghies with one quintal sea cucumber were seized by the Kalighat Police Unit two days ago fromBuddaGobe area of Kalighat. As per sources, it is suspected to be a dinghy of Burmese Poachers.
However, the Police have not apprehended any poachers from the Dinghy yet and an anti-poaching operation is currently ongoing in the woods of BuddaGobe area.
Sources also informed that Police teams have been deputed in the villages like LohaTikrey, Burma Chad, and Binda Nallah-1 to protect the villagers from the threat of Poachers.
High alert has been sounded for the Look Out Posts of Karen Nallah and East Island. The seized dinghies have been taken to the Kishori Nagar Jetty of Kailghat.
