Port Blair, Apr 06: Mr. V.K Abdul Aziz, Zilla Parishad Member, South Andaman has conveyed his greeting to the people of A&N Islands on the occasion of World Health Day.
Mr. Aziz said that the maintenance of good health is essential for leading a long and happy life. He added that one should be conscious of his/her health and take utmost care for its good maintenance.
World Health Day is a global health awareness day celebrated every year on 07th April, under the sponsorship of the World Health Organization (WHO).
World Health Day is held to mark the founding day of WHO and is seen as an opportunity by the organization to draw worldwide attention to a subject of major importance to global health each year.
