Port Blair, Apr 04: Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member and Former State President, BJP, A&N Islands has congratulated Mr. S.U. Maheswar Rao (BE &M.Tech.), Secretary of the Mahasagar Fisheries Co-operative Society Ltd., Port Blair, on appointed as a member of the Governing Body of the “National Fisheries Development Board” (NFDB) Hyderabad, Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Government of India.
Mr. Jolly on behalf of the entire BJP has thanked the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President Mr. J P Nadda, National General Secretary (Org) Mr. B. L. Santhosh, Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, GoI, Mr. Pursotham Rupala, MOS Fisheries Dr. L Murgan and National Secretary and In-charge A&N Islands Mr. Y. Satya Kumar for conferring this responsibility to Mr. S. U. Maheswar Rao.
Mr. Jolly further expressed that it is a matter of pride for all Islanders as well as the Fishermen Community of the Islands that first time in the history of these Islands any person is appointed as a Board member of the Governing Body in “National Fisheries Development Board” (NFDB).
Mr. Jolly has requested the newly appointed Governing Board member Mr. S. U. Maheswar Rao to ensure that every Scheme pertaining to Fishermen is properly implemented at the ground level, every fisherman and the entire Fishermen Community of these Islands are benefited from his appointment. He wished the newly appointed Governing Body member success in his future endeavor.
