Port Blair, Apr 04: Mr. PK Haldar, State President of Andaman Nicobar Democratic Congress (ANDC) has requested Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narender Modi to allot two more JEE (Main) Examination Centres in Mayabunder and Car Nicobar.
In a letter addressed to the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Haldar mentioned that the two sessions of JEE (Main) Examination are overlapping within the duration of the CBSE Examinations, which will create difficulties for the students in Mayabunder (N&M Andaman) and Car Nicobar to appear in the JEE (Main) Exams at Port Blair Centre.
He pointed out that travel arrangements are not regular from Mayabunder and Car Nicobar to Port Blair. Therefore students will possibly miss the JEE (Main) Examinations.
He requested that the allotment of two additional JEE (Main) Examination Centers should be allotted in the two District Headquarters of Mayabunder and Car Nicobar.
