Port Blair, Mar 31: The Port Blair Municipal Council bid farewell to three employees of the Council, who superannuated from government service. At a simple function held on 31st March 2022 in the conference hall of the Council Smti.KavithaUdhaya Kumar, Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council handed over all the retirement benefits including GPF,gratuity and other monetary benefits to the retiring employees. In her address the Civic Chief recalled the valuable services rendered by them to the Council and wished them happy and healthy post retired life. Mementoes were also presented to the retiring employees. The Administrative Officer,Mr.AshokAnand , introduced the retiring employees to the Chairperson. Officials /officers of the Council were also present on the occasion. Names of the employees who retired are viz Mr. G.Thinakaran, Lineman (JE-III Water Section), Mr.S.Arul, Sanitary JawabdharZone No-8) and Mr.Lall Kishore Raj Bansi, Sanitary Mazdoor (Zone No-10).
