Port Blair, Mar 30: As an innovative march towards waste to wealth, a 3-R (Reduce, Reuse & Recycle) team of Port Blair Municipal Council made a unit being widely utilised during various public activities/functions from the discarded wastes into Portable wash basins and drinking water facilities.
These 03-R Teams had earlier added feathers in the cap of PBMC by winning 02 times best stalls during Island Tourism Festival and Flea Market during 2018 & 2019. Recently the same team members have won the top positions during Sand Art competition held on 27.03.2022 at Corbyn’s Cove Beach.
