Port Blair, Mar 24: The executive members of Tourism Association of Andaman and Nicobar Islands (TAAN), Tourist Vehicle Owners Association (TVOA), and A&N Tourist Vehicle Drivers Welfare Union today called on the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman and Director, IP&T to discuss some grievances.
As per details, TAAN expressed gratitude towards the DC, South Andaman for
an immediate exemption of permission procedure for travel to Baratang and assured that no re-documentation will be done for fully vaccinated people, it is learnt.
Later when the delegation went to Director, IP&T and discussed their grievances of resuming tourist activity at Jolly Bouy islands and permanent allotment of parking/ halting space for tourist cab drivers, the Director IP&T assured them that tourism will be opened soon at Jolly Bouy Islands.
