Port Blair, Mar 03: The closure of the Port Blair Airport for four days a week is the most discussed issue of present time for people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands
Many social organizations and political parties have already raised serious concerns in this issue and simultaneously a lot of rumors are also doing around, leaving people further confused.
When Andaman Sheekha Daily contacted Mr. Jameel Khaliq, the Airport Director, Veer Savarkar International Airport, AAIto know about the facts regarding this issue, he said that there is no change in the flight schedule for the Month of March and the runway will remain closed for four days a week.
“Earlier about 14 flights used to land at Port Blair Airport every day, but now on Saturday Sunday and Monday, each day nearly 25 flights will land at Port Blair,” he added.
