Port Blair, Feb 15: On the request of the general public of Bambooflat and its adjoining area under Ferrargunj tehsil, today Miss V.K.Mariyam Bibi, Former President, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman requested the Director of Shipping Services (DSS) to start the morning Boat service from 5 am between Bambooflat & Chatham and the last trip at 9.40 pm from Chatham to Bambooflat for the convenience of the general public keeping in view the relaxation of curfew time.
She also demanded introducing boat service from Marine to Panighat at 8.15 Pm. Director, DSS assured her to do the needful at the earliest.
