Port Blair, Feb 10: The District President of KisanMorcha of BJP Mr. Kishor Mistry, Head of Shakti Kendra of BJP Mr. Aman Mistry and BJP Leader Mr. Sribas joined the Congress party at Rangat on Thursday.
They joined the party in the presence of the Rangat Block Congress Committee President Mr. D. Kandaswamy and Rangat Block Congress Committee General Secretary Mr. DipankarSammaddar along with Mr. Kandaswamy and several other Congress leaders.
Mr. Kandaswamy said that a positive change is visible in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands under the leadership of ANTCC President Mr. RangalalHalder and Member of Parliament Mr. KuldeepRai Sharma.
Mr. Kandaswamy added that the BJP leaders are joining Congress as they are inspired by Mr. RangalalHalder’s leadership and asserted that they will strengthen the party.
“Those Congress leaders who are switching over to the BJP will eventually return back after some time when they feel disillusioned. The Congress will always keep its doors open for anyone wishing to join it”, he said.
