Port Blair, Feb 03: In a meeting consisting of party members and supporters held at Shaheed Bhavan, Party State Headquarters at Anarkali, Port Blair on 2ndFebruary 2022, CPI (M) has formed an Election Committee with Mr. D. Laxman Rao as Convener.
The Election Committee will coordinate with various committees of the party and mass organizations and will decide to put up candidates in the forthcoming Municipal and Panchayat election in the Islands.
The Committee will be responsible for the election campaign, finalizing the candidature, coordination with other organizations, political parties and the Administration in the matter of election.
