Port Blair, Feb 03: The National Executive member of Bharatiya Janata Party, Mr. Ashish Sood today said that elections to Panchayat and Municipal Council in Andaman and Nicobar Islands will be fought on the issue of development.
Addressing a press briefing today, Mr. Sood today said that a campaign named ‘Mera Andaman Mera Sujhav’ will soon be launched in these Islands. He added that special WhatsApp numbers will be released to invite suggestions from the public. Mr. Asish Sood added that ‘Mera Andaman Mera Sujhav’ will enable the common man to suggest the development he wants to see in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and it will empower the common man. Apart from inviting suggestions through WhatsApp, boxes will be placed in public spaces where people can drop in their suggestions for the development of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
