Port Blair, Jan 25: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee President Mr. Rangalal Halder has extended his warm greetings to the people of A&N Islands on the occasion of 73rd Republic Day.
ANTCC President in his message said that “our constitution has bestowed every right to be the citizen of this free democratic nation. But as we enjoy the fundamental rights given by the constitution, every citizen has to also follow the fundamental duties to keep the democratic principles of the nation on a high rank”.
Mr. Halder paid rich tributes to the country’s valiant freedom fighters saying that it was due to their supreme sacrifice that we are able to celebrate the Republic Day.
He also remembered and paid tribute to the great leaders who carried out a long struggle for liberating our country from the colonial yoke and securing freedom for our people.
