Port Blair, Jan 10: Suicide committed by a 28 year old lady, who was posted at AC office of Rangat, has raised many eyebrows and caused a ripple in social media platforms after family members of the lady, leveled various allegations on a few officials.
According to reports, the lady committed suicide in her government accommodation on 9th January 2022 afternoon, after sending a text message to one colleague.
When contacted the Superintendent of Police of North and Middle Andaman, Mr. Vichitra Veer, IPS,said that the case is under investigation and the investigations are being carried out as per Code of Criminal Procedure.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha Daily over phone, the SP assured that all aspects of this matter will be investigated thoroughly and based on all reports and findings, further steps will be taken.
“It is our responsibility to listen to every point raised by the family members of the deceased. Their allegations will be heard and facts will be thoroughly investigated,” he assured.
