Port Blair, Jan 02: A 15-years-old boy reportedly drowned in the sea while swimming at Corbyn’s Cove Beach on Saturday afternoon.
According to information received at around 01:30 PM on Saturday, 01 January 2022, students of a religious teaching center went to Corbyn’s Cove Beach for picnic. While playing on the beach some students went for swimming and a boy suddenly started drowning in water.
Immediately the Life Guards were called for help and the boy was rescued in an unconscious state and was rushed to the GB Pant Hospital, where the doctor declared him brought dead, it is learnt.
Later a drowning case was registered in Aberdeen police Station.
