Diglipur, Dec. 02: World Aids Day was observed with the theme “End Equalities End AIDS End Pandemics” by the CHC, Diglipur today with the conduction of various IEC activities throughout Diglipur area to create awareness about the HIV/AIDS among general public.
In this connection, a rally was held which started from CHC, Diglipur, touched all vantage points of Diglipur Bazaar and then returned back to CHC, Diglipur. ASHA Workers, AANMS, Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Helpers participated in the rally. The rally was led by Arabinda Biswas, Health Educator and Smti Boby Samadder, AIDS Councillor, CHC, Diglipur.
Earlier, the rally was flagged off at 10.00AM by Dr. M. Mohammed Sulaiman, CMO, CHC, Diglipur in presence of Dr. Suresh Saki, Skin Specialist and Dr. Javed, Medical Officer, Homeopathy, CHC, Diglipur, a source said.
