Port Blair, Dec 02: The State Vice President of BJP and Prabhari of Media Cell, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr M Vinod has urged the Lt. Governor to consider bestowing LG’s Commendation Certificate to the three Jet Ski Operators of these islands, who saved three precious lives at sea on Wednesday. At around 4:30 on Dec 1, six fishermen were caught in the stormy weather at sea near Snake Island. The rescue operation was difficult, but the three Jet Ski Operator from Carbyn’s Cove Beach namely Mr Naresh, Mr Dilip and Mr Sanjay Das showed exemplary bravery and reached out to the drowning fishermen and saved their lives. This act of bravery has earned laurels for the entire team of tourist operators in these islands, said Mr Vinod urging the Lt. Governor to award the Jet Ski Operators with LG Commendation for their gallant act.
