Port Blair, Nov 21: The Andaman Law College organized a special programme on ‘Financial Literacy’ in the college auditorium at the behest of Dr. C Sathish, Principal(i/c). Addressing the gathering, Mr Manoj Kumar Lakra, Chief Manager, SBI, Port Blair emphasized on the various types of online/offline financial frauds being committed in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. He appealed to students of Andaman Law College to be aware and vigilant of various modes of frauds. He also spoke about various methods by which consumers can save themselves from falling prey to various scams. Mr Jayendra, Manager (MPST), SBI, Port Blair discussed about the various investment schemes of SBI and emphasized on the importance of securing one’s financial future through smart and sound investment choices. Mr Prashant Bhadu, Asst. Prof., Andaman Law College, welcomed the guests and vote of thanks was proposed by Mr Karthik Shiva, Asst. Prof., Andaman Law College.
