Diglipur, Nov. 16: Birsa Munda Jayanti/Janjatiya Gourav Diwas was celebrated at Radha Govind Community Hall, Diglipur yesterday by Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Diglipur. Dipankar Mistry, Ex-Adhyaksh, ZP, A&M Andaman was the Chief Guest and Naresh Halder Ex-ZPM & Adhyaksh was the Guest of Honour on the occasion. About 400 people gathered to mark occasion while a number of programs were held. Five villages participated in the traditional folk dance program in which Bhashadek bagged the first prize, Magarnallah got the second prize while the 3rd prize was taken by Navin Nagar village, VKA source said.
