Port Blair, Nov 11: M.Vinod President, AATO along with all its members have expressed their sincere gratitude towards Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, DC South Andaman for visiting Phoenix Bay jetty along with team of Officers led by the DC, the team was accompanied by Secretary Shipping, ADM, SP (CID), ASP, South Andaman, Director Tourism, Director Shipping and officials of Shipping and Revenue Department.
The team of officials visited Phoenix Bay jetty and Haddo jetty and met tourists, locals and travel agents present their and listened to their grievances. President AATO Mr. M.Vinod and members of AATO were also present at the jetty.
Lot of positive decisions were taken by DC (S/A) on the spot for the benefit of tourists and tourism stakeholders. Mr. Suneel Anchipaka has assured to streamline the ticketing system and also additional boats were provided for Shaheed Dweep.
The DC South Andaman also held a meeting with Private Cruise Operators on the same day in his office.
AATO has thanked Mr. Suneel Anchipaka DC (SA ) and the team for their sudden visit and bringing relief to the visiting tourists and stakeholders.
