Port Blair, Nov 09: The Electricity Department of Andaman and Nicobar Island issued a press note regarding the extension time period for paying energy bills in online portal “Urja Pay” for North and Middle Andaman District and the consumers can avail the facility at urjapay.andaman.gov.in website.
In the said Press Note the department of electricity said that monthly energy bills to all the consumers of N & M Andaman shall also be issued through SMS following the concept of Paperless Billing.
The service of electronic city department is very poor specially in the filed of payment of bills. No online is working properly and of line also not responding . Customer service in payment in bills is totally failed. Customer is ready to his bills well in time but the behaviour of the staff is not cooperative due to which unnecessary surcharges/ late payment penalty imposed on the customer.
