Port Blair, Oct 06: Central Island Agricultural Research Institute Employees Welfare Association (CIARIEWA) of ICAR-CIARI, Port Blair organized a farewell function on 05th October, 2021,to bid farewell to Mr. Sushil Kumar Singh, Senior Administrative Officer (SAO) of this Institute on his promotion and posting as Chief Administrative Officer at ICAR-Indian Institute of Wheat & Barley Research , Karnal. He had served for more than 4 years in the Institute.
Dr. Eaknath B. Chakurkar, Director and Patron, CIARIEWA while delivering his presidential speech, placed on record the contributions made by Mr. Sushil Kumar Singh. Thereafter , he felicitated him and his family members with a memento.
Mr. Sushil Kumar Singh , the Chief guest shared his learning experiences and good memories during his tenure as SAO . Dr. Debasis Bhattacharya, Dr. S.K. Zamir Ahmed, Dr. Jai Sunder, Dr. P.K. Singh, Dr. T.P. Swarnam, Dr. V. Baskaran, Dr. R. Kiruba Sankar, Dr. Y. Ramakrishna, Dr. K. Saravanan, Mr. S.K. Biswas and Mr. Ravi Babu also spoke on the occasion.
At the outset, Mr.K. Shyam Sunder Rao welcomed the gathering Smt. M. Naga Venkat Laxmi proposed vote of thanks. Mr. P. Simhachalam coordinated the overall conduct of the farewell function.
