Port Blair, Nov 08: The member of Parliament Mr Bishnu Pada Ray today requested the Lt Governor, Andaman & Nicobar Island to change the departure timing of State Transport Service bus leaving for Diglipur from Port Blair at 04.00 am, and 04.15 am to 07.00 am.
In a letter addressed to the Lt Governor Mr Bishnu said that the common people particularly children/senior citizens are facing lot of problems in preparing for journey from midnight onwards which is a very odd timing.
“Subsequently departure time from Diglipur be remain unchanged i.e. 07.00 am so as to enable the Bus to reach at Port Blair at 05.00 PM,” Mr Bishnu added.
