Port Blair, Nov 08: The Director General of A & N Police has once again issued caution against use of high beam. In a press release the DGP today said that even though drivers and vehicle users had been cautioned from driving with high-beam lights during the night by a press release dated 21st May, 2012, it has been noticed that some of the drivers are not following the traffic norms as advised from time to time.
“All drivers and vehicle users are once again requested to keep their head light at low-beam while driving at night. The Traffic Police would implement these Rules strictly with immediate effect. Violators will be challaned Rs. 1,000/- for dangerous driving,” he added.
