Port Blair, Sep 16: A 21-day program is being organized by the State BJP unit to commemorate the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The program will start from Khaitan Kalyan Mandapam at Junglighat.
It was learnt that the MP, Meerut, Mr. Rajendra Agrawal, who came from the mainland, will address the conference as the chief guest. State BJP President Mr. Ajay Bairagi gave the above information during a press conference at the BJP headquarters on Thursday.
Briefing the media, Mr. Bairagi said that this time the birthday of Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi will be celebrated in a large scale across the Archipelago. He added that the program will start from Khaitan Kalyan Mandapam at Junglighat.
An exhibition on Prime Minister, Mr.Narendra Modi will also be organised during the programme. He said that there will be a beach cleaning program the next day. After this, a program of distribution of gifts to the people living in old age homes, distribution of fruits to the patients in the hospital and distribution of gifts to the specially-abled people and inmates of orphanages have also been chalked out.
He said that from September 17 to 07 October 2021 a detailed program has been planned by the party. In these programs on September 25, the founder of the party, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee’s birth anniversary and Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary will also be celebrated.
Later BJP President Mr. Vishal Jolly said that the main aim of the party is to serve with dedication. He said that Bharatiya Janata Party is constantly making efforts for the upliftment of the poor and downtrodden people. He urged everyone to participate in the birthday of the Prime Minister.
The BJP State Vice President Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh said that the program will be organized in 38 mandals of the archipelago. An awareness program will be conducted at the booth level through postcards on the biography of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Tree plantation, plastic removal programs will also be conducted during the function. Blood donation camp, distribution of ration kits, vaccination camp will also be organized on behalf of the party.
Mrs. Sampa Banerjee, BJP Mahila Morcha State President and Mr. N K Uday Kumar Yuva Morcha State President were also present during the press conference.
