Port Blair, Sept 13: The Chakraborty Hospital, Port Blair has been awarded with the ISO 9001:2015 by the Radiance Quality Certifications, London, UK. The RQC issued the certificate after independently assessing the Quality Management System of the Chakraborty Hospital.
The coveted certificate has been awarded for scopes viz providing services of MRI, CT, X-Ray, Lab, Pharmacy, Ward, Special Ward, TMT, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Home Doctor Visit, EECP, Home Blood Collection etc. With this, the Chakraborty Hospital Port Blair has become the first and only hospital in the A&N Islands to have achieved this certificate, information Dr Sudip Chakraborty, the Chairman of Chakraborty Hospitals with pride. Dr Chakraborty has three hospitals, one each in Port Blair, Rangat, Diglipur and a Clinic in Bambooflat.
