On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi I convey my warm greetings to the people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
This important festival is celebrated across the country with great devotion and gaiety and with the participation of youths in large number.
Lord Ganesh is believed to be the Lord of success, who blesses his followers with their desired achievements by removing the obstacles of their paths. Hence, ”Vignaharta” is one of the popular names of Lord Ganesh, which means ”demolisher of obstacles”.
Ganesh Chaturthi is also a festival that evokes feelings of love and togetherness between people creating a pleasing atmosphere.
I pray to Lord Vigneswara to shower His choicest blessings on all of us to lead a life of peace and harmony this year.
May Lord Ganesh lead all the people of Andaman and Nicobar on the path of progress, happiness, peace and prosperity.
