Port Blair, Aug 11: The delegation of Nagarpalika Swachhtha Karmachari Sangh (NSKS) met Secretary, Port Blair Municipal Council on the issues of Sanitary employees of PBMC. The delegation was headed Dr. T. K. Jijith Rekh, President, NSKS alognwith Mr. Thirumuniyan, Secretary, NSKS and office bearers of Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh Mr. M. Veeranna, Advisor, Mr. G. Anoop, Organising Secretary and Mr. S. Biju Pillai, General Secretary.
The issues were discussed for providing safety gears and essential items in regular interval, organising Medical Camp for all Sanitary employees, organising Swachhtha Saptah in a manner of Sports and allied activities exclusively for Sanitary Employees and concluding on 2nd October marking Gandhi Jayanti. The Sanitary sections are functioning without any basic requirements such as Pure Drinking water, Toilets, sitting place etc.
The Secretary patiently heard the issues and flagged it to resolve it on a time bound manner. The approach of Secretary towards the issues was in a very positive manner.
