Port Blair, Aug 04: District Child Protection Unit under District Administration, South Andaman celebrated “Friendship Day “at Capstone Children Home on 4th August 2021.
The aim behind celebration of “Friendship Day” is to inculcate a sense of belonging and security among the children and to provide them an opportunity to experience the value of relationship. Early childhood friendship contribute to the children’s quality of life and ability to adjust and learn sharing, cooperation, listening to others and to reciprocate their feeling and emotions in a positive way.
The programme started with fun activity followed by the memory games and puzzle games. Altogether 17 children participated in the programme actively.
The District Administration South Andaman ensures to conduct such programs in future, at Child Care Institution which would help children to build healthy relationships, and give value and respect to feeling and emotions of others.
