Port Blair, July 22: On 20 July 2021 a missing complaint was registered in Kadamtala Police Station, in which it was mentioned that one youth namely Mr. Prasanjit, 22 years, a resident of Broom Valley, who went for fishing with his dog, inside Phooltala Forest on 18 July 2021, did not return.
Following the complaint, immediately a joint team of Police and Forest Department was formed by Sub Inspector Tamil Arasan. The police team started a massive search operation inside the forest area of Phooltala and Shantipur Dinghy Ghat area, braving the adverse weather conditions.
As per details, yesterday while conducting Jungle search in Shantipur Dinghy Ghat area of Western Coast the team found both Prasanjit and his pet dog safe inside the forest area after which the person was taken to PHC Kadamtala Hospital for necessary medical help.
According to details, the missing youth had lost his way inside deep forest.
The entire Operation was conducted under overall supervision of SDPO, Rangat (In-charge), Mr. RK Sharma and Mr. Vichitra Veer, IPS Superintendent of Police, North and Middle Andaman.
