Rangat, July 04: Promoting humanitarian principles and values; Disaster response; Disaster preparedness; and Health and Care in the Community are the core areas of activities of Indian Redcross Society, the IRC, North and Middle Andaman reached out with relief materials for poor, marginalized, downtrodden and Disabled peoples of Bakultala and Rangat under the overall supervision of Dr.B.Bindu Kumar, Secretary I/c, and other Redcross Life members and volunteers.
These activities were conducted on 27 June 2021 at Puranathana area of Rangat and today on 4 July 2021 at Bakultala areas, by these two programmes, Bedsheets, Sarees distributed and Redcross Printed face Mask and Soaps distributed to poor, marginalized and Disabled peoples.
Behaviour Change Awareness program at Bakultala on COVID-19 appropriate behaviour, of Social Distancing (Physical distancing), proper wearing of mask and practice of Hygiene and sanitation. Proper handwashing technique and mask wearing technique were also demonstrated.
