Port Blair, July 02: Consequent upon the closure of Temples due to the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the administration, the livelihood of many priests is hit hard as their earnings are completely dependent upon the devotees, visiting the temples.
Hence KHV took the initiative to request the DC, South Andaman to issue orders for opening the temples by following the COVID-19 appropriate SOPs as the cases of COVID-19 has decreased to a great extent.
On behalf of the whole all the priests of Andaman Temples, Pt. Ravikesh Chand, Vice President, KHV and Mr. Vidya Sagar dubey, President (Yuva Morcha) had approached the DC office in this regard.
