Port Blair, June 21: A patient was evacuated from Campbell Bay in a Defence helicopter this evening and was brought to Port Blair. He was later shifted to INHS Dhanvantri.
According to reports the patients, who is working as driver in Border Roads Organisation (BRO) General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF) was admitted in local hospital in Campbell Bay three days back with breathing difficulties.
Today after his oxygen level started dipping he was airlifted to Port Blair for specialized medical care. It is still not clear whether the patients in COVID-19 positive. More information are awaited.
