Port Blair, Jun 04: Mr. Rayhaan Pasha President of Nicobar Youth Association has urged for establishment of necessary infrastructure for Covid Care Center in Nicobar Islands.
In a letter addressed to Mr. Jitendra Narain, the Chief Secretary of A & N Administration the president of NYA stated that the COVID-19 pandemic is creating havoc across the world and causing major turmoil in the lives of millions of Indian.
He appreciated the number of recent initiatives taken by the Andaman and Nicobar Administration to control the spread of virus in these Islands.
“However, even after numerous efforts of the administration, the situation is getting more complex and worrisome with each day,” Mr. Pasha added to his letter.
Hence he urged to sanction the funds available under TWD for establishment of necessary infrastructure meant for CCC with all required facilities in Nicobar Islands to protect the otherwise geographically isolated and marginalized tribal people of our islands.
