Port Blair, May 24: Mr. Vishal Jolly, Core‐Committee Member & Former State President, BJP‐A & N Islands and Member, Home Ministry Advisory Committee has written a letter to the Lt Governor of A & N Islands and requested compensation for Late Rakesh Singh’s family.
In his letter he pointed out that due to the inclement weather caused by Cyclone Yaas, Mr. Rakesh Singh, 17 Years old, son of Mr. Ram Pukar Singh of Cari Basti, Chouldari lost his life, after a tree fell on his house on 23/05/2021.
“Though he was rushed to PHC Chouldari, he succumbed to the injury sustained on his head. Also it is understood that the house has been completely damaged,” Mr. Jolly added.
