Port Blair, May 21: During this time of pandemic with humans, voiceless animals are also suffering terribly as many have lost their source of daily food.
Keeping this in mind Mrs. Renuka Ratnam and Mr. Prateesh Ratnam a couple has been working relentlessly for these voiceless by calling them buddies. They have been feeding around 200-300 dogs.
Being this, their routine work, the couple visited Wandoor beach with Miss. Komal Anand (NGO Pankh) to feed the stray dogs as there were around 15-20 dogs, which were totally dependent upon the tourists for the food and now as all the tourist places are closed, these dogs are struggling to find food.
Apart from this during their visit to Wandoor beach they also got to know the pain of the locals staying there, who have no business since there are no tourists. Mrs. Renuka Ratnam distributed ration kits and other essentials to these families. Along with this they also thanked the administration for their support and putting up a proposal for making shelter for these dogs.
