Port Blair, May 18: A resident of Rangat Mr. Kanta Halder died because of COVID-19 at Port Bair and there was no one to cremate the body of the deceased. Andaman Sheekha Daily learnt from Hospital Sources that Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma the MP and a few of his supporters came forward to take the body from the Hospital on 16.05.2021 and carryout the cremation at Junglighat Cremation Ground. Taking to Andaman Sheekha, a few prominent residents of Middle Andaman have expressed gratitude towards the MP for cremating body of Mr. Halder.
