Port Blair, May 18: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has requested the Chief Secretary of A&N Administration that in order to avoid crisis of oxygen for the patients in the hospital without any hardships, hospital should purchase oxygen from other oxygen manufacture also as presently one oxygen company is supplying oxygen to the health department as per the rules.
He also said that even Administration can take the help of Indian Navy since A&N Command (NSRY) has also an oxygen plant in Andaman in which the Chief of Naval Staff has assured the Hon’ble Prime Minister on 3rd May, 2021 during meeting.
