Shri. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Shri. SNN Gregory, State President, Bharatiya Janata Minority Morcha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and M. Raj Kumar, General Secretary, Bharatiya Janata Minority Morcha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands has wished the Islanders on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Shri. Ajoy Bairagi has wished that may this Eid-ul-Fitr bring prosperity and good health to all the Islanders and everyone around the world.
Shri. Ajoy Bairagi has requested all Islanders to stay at home and celebrate Eid with their family this year, considering the surge in the number of COIVD-19 cases in the Islands. He further requested the Islanders to use technology and greet their friends and relatives on video call and on social media instead of physically meeting them to stop the chain of transmission in the Islands.
Shri. Ajoy Bairagi has further requested all Islanders to always wear masks when they are out in public and maintain social distancing. He further appealed to everyone to frequently wash their hands with soap and water or sanitise them regularly. He has also requested the Islanders to stay at home and do not go out until and unless it is very important.
