Port Blair, May 12: Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Mr. M Vinod, State Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands have conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to the Lt. Governor, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Chief Secretary, Andaman and Nicobar Islands for considering the request of appointing the Head of Office/Head of Institution as competent authority for sanction of casual leave, station leaving permission & other leave for Group-B Non-Gazetted Employees working under Andaman and Nicobar Administration. Mr. M Vinod under the leadership of Mr. Ajoy Bairagi had earlier written a letter to the Administration demanding the same. They mentioned that the move will bring relief to the thousands of Group-B Non Gazetted employees of Andaman and Nicobar Administration.
