
Port Blair, May 07: Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, Deputy Commissioner (SA) along with SDM(SA), AC(HQ), AC(S), AC(L) and AC(U/T) visited the vaccination camp held at Manglutan Community Hall.
During his brief interaction with the organisers of the camp and general present there he requested them to follow the COIVD appropriate behaviour and also sought their cooperation in the fight against the pandemic. The entire Administration is focussed on controlling the covid surge and in this regard, DC(SA) reiterated that all-out measures will be taken for strict enforcement of the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions.
The DC(SA) along with the officials also visited and inspected kitchen, store room, hygiene, playground, recreation & online education facilities of the Child Care Institutions namely, Love Children Home (both boys & girls) and Calvary Children Home (boys). During the visit he interacted with the care taker as well the children of both the institutes and also inspected the facilities being provided for the benefit of the children. He appreciated the facilities at LOVE Children Home and instructed the Calvary Children Home to improve the facilities provided to the children. He also directed In-charges to ensure that all precautions are being taken for the safety of the children in view of COVID pandemic.
