Port Blair, May 04: In partial modification to this Office Order No.72 dated 30thApril 2021, thefollowing is hereby ordered with immediate effect in North & Middle Andaman District.
1. Godowns and allied establishments which are permitted as per said Order canoperate beyond 01:00 PM till 06:00 PM for non-business purposes and shouldnot cater to any customers. Only internal operations, receiving/dispatching ofstocks etc. shall be permitted. Establishments violating this provision shall beliable for fine of Rs.25,000/-.
2. LPG/POL operations/distributions shall be permitted beyond 01.00 PM to 06:00 PM to cargo and essential services vehicles only.
3. Restaurants/hotels can continue operations beyond 01:00 PM to 08.00 PM for home delivery/parcel wherein explicit permission (by name) of the delivery boy shall be taken by the concerned Assistant Commissioner.
4. Fishermen and persons supplying milk shall be permitted beyond 01.00 PM to 06.00 PM wherein explicit permission (by name) of the person shall be taken by the concerned Assistant Commissioner.
5. For construction sites, where labourers are within the premises, construction activities can go on and while materials from port can be received upto06:00 PM, no labour movement shall be allowed.
6. Officials on essential duties are permitted to travel on production of valid identity cards to be issued by the concerned HoDs.
The establishments listed above shall strictly follow norms of social distancing by maintaining a distance of atleast01 (one) meter from a person and not allowing more than 05 persons at a time inside the premises.
This order shall be applicable with effect from 06th May,2021 till further orders, an order issued by Dr. ANGEL BHATI CHAUHAN, IAS, District Magistrate of North and Middle Andaman District said here today.
