Port Blair, Apr 25: On 25.04.21 at about 1100 Hrs, information received by SHO PS Humfrigunj from the Manager of Monsoon Fish Industry, Dhannikhari that one of their workers got a purse at Dhannikhari junction, which is containing original documents and cash.
On that information, SHO PS Humfrigunj went to fish Industry and obtained the purse from Mr. Farzul Ali,18 yrs, a resident of Dhannikhari.
On verifying the original documents containing at the purse, it was found that the purse might be belong to Mr. Dilip Saojol R/o- Guptapara. Then the search of Mr. Dilip Saojol was carried out at Manglutan, Guptapara and Manjery area.
At around 1700 Hrs, Mr. Dilip Saojol, S/o- Shri Sukhranjan Saojol (32)yrs, a Government servant at MES, R/o- Guptapara near fish landing jetty was found and his lost money purse after verification was handed over to him. The Purse contained crucial documents like Original Islander card; Original PAN card; Original Driving License; Original PRAN card; 03 Nos ATM card- 02 Nos. SBI & 01 No. AXIS and some cash.
As such original ID cards are more valuable than cash, the owner of the purse expressed deep gratitude towards police team of PS Humfrigunj. Such noble and professionalism work by Police station Humfrigunj is being the center of appreciation among villagers.
