Port Blair, Apr 18: HRS and Prayas organised a vaccination drive in Brookshabad Community hall on 17/04/2021 from 0900 hrs to 1630 hrs in collaboration with District Administration, South Andaman with the support of their team member & Volunteers of respective areas.
Doses of Covid-19 vaccine were administered to the beneficiaries of the area. The centre was a great relief for old aged people who had difficulty in travelling to far off vaccination centers, the HRS arranged the pick-up & dropping service.
The National Secretary, Hindu Rashtra Shakti, Mr. Amar Kumar Singh, Mr. Rakeshwar Lall, President, Mr. Angshuman Roy, State General Secretary ( Youth), Mr. Venkat Ramana, Vice President, HRS and renowned social worker Smti Deepali Singh, Mr. Mosho Munda & Mr. Ganga Rao and Mrs Maria Sheekha, PRAYAS with their teams were present at the venue to monitor the vaccination process and done the volunteer service.
To inspect and motivate the NGO’s work, the SDM visited the community Hall, he interacted with the local general public and checked the management work.
The two counters were setup for first dose & second dose. Mr. Nagendran of DC Office staff briefed about the precaution, toll free number and aware to General Public. The HRS urged the general public to follow all Covid-19 appropriate behavior for the safety of their family and the society as well.
