Port Blair, April 16: Mr. Maheshwar Lall, State Office Incharge, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands under instruction from Mr. Ajoy Bairagi has released a circular asking BJP Office Bearers and workers of State, District, Mandal & Booth not to hold any political programme until further orders citing the sudden surge in COVID-19 cases.
In the circular certain exemptions have been mentioned for the Office Bearers and workers of Bharatiya Janata Party. Exemption has been given for holding awareness among eligible people regarding ‘COVID-19 Vaccination Drive’ or Tika Utsav. Exemption has also been given for arranging vehicles and assisting eligible people to reach or return from designated COVID-19 vaccination centres. Further exemption has also been given to help the A & N Administration in making COVID-19 Vaccination a grand success and organisation expansion work within the party. It has been strictly ordered to the Karyakartas to adhere to COVID-19 appropriate behaviour and not to compromise on any COVID-19 protocols.
