Port Blair, April 13: To facilitate eligible beneficiaries for COVID-19 vaccination residing in far flung Islands, the A&N Administration is reaching out to them during the four day ‘Tika Utsav’ so as to ensure that no eligible person is deprived of the opportunity to get themselves vaccinated. The Administration has exclusively arranged a vessel MV Long Island to ferry the team comprising of medics and paramedics from Health Department to carry out vaccination for eligible beneficiaries from Nancowry to Chowra Islands. The vessel left for its destination early this morning with a medical team under the leadership of Dr. Solomon, M.O CHC Nancowry. The team reached the Island in the afternoon and the vaccination drive started for the people above 45 years of age.
