Port Blair, Apr 11: The Hindustani Academy Uttar Pradesh, Prayag Raj has announced on 9 April 2021 that Dr. Vyas Mani Tripathi, Head of the Hindi Department of Jawaharlal Nehru Government College, Port Blair, will be honored with the prestigious “Mahavir Prasad Dwivedi Award” worth Rs 2 lakh. Dr. Tripathi will be conferred the award on his book ‘Kavita Ki Nayi Samvedna’ published by Vani Prakashan, New Delhi.
It is worth mentioning here that thirty books of poetry, story, essay of Dr. Vyas Mani Tripathi have been published so far. Among them are ‘Samkalin Samvedna Ki Parakh’, ‘Kabir Se Nirala tak’, Natya Tattva in Ram Chandrika’, Jagannath Das Ratnakar “Nand Das”, ‘Kalapani Sangiya Mujhko Khalte Hain’, ‘Ek aastha aisi bhi, Andaman’s Hindi Literature etc.
Keeping in view of his literature contribution, he has been conferred ‘Vishwa Hindi Samman’ at the 10th World Hindi Conference organized by the Government of India. Apart from this, Dr. Tripathi was given the prize of one lakh rupees of Madhya Pradesh Sahitya Academy. Several awards and honors have been received including Ramchandra Shukla Criticism Award, Dr. Ram Vilas Sharma Award of Uttar Pradesh Hindi Institute, and honorary titles of Vidya Varaidhi and Vidya Vachaspati.
Now when the Hindustani Academy of Uttar Pradesh, Prayag Raj is awarding “Mahavir Prasad Dwivedi Award” to Dr. Vyas Mani Tripathi the islanders are delighted with the announcement.
