Shri. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands has appealed to the Islanders to follow all precautions to keep themselves safe from COVID-19 in view of the increasing COVID-19 cases in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Shri. Ajoy Bairagi appeals to all Islanders to wear face covers at all times in public and maintain Social Distancing (2 Gaz Ki Doori) at all times. He has further asked the Islanders to wash their hands frequently and where ever washing of hands is not possible use hand sanitiser.
He has further asked the Islanders to stay at home and only go out when it is very important. Shri. Ajoy Bairagi also appeals to all old aged persons and children to remain in home and take care of their health.
The State President further asked the Islanders above 45 years of age to get themselves vaccinated and take all precautions for the safety of themselves and their families.
The State President further appeals to everyone to follow all guidelines of Andaman and Nicobar Administration and the Central Govt. He further requested Islanders to follow the latest Corona Curfew (Night Curfew) imposed by the South Andaman District Administration from the midnight of 10th of April 2021.
He has wished the Islanders the best of health and requested them to contact a medical professional if they encounter any symptoms associated with COVID-19.
